4th Annual Client Appreciation Academy Awards Party
As a thank you for continued business and referrals, each year I invite my clients as VIP guests to enjoy my annual Academy Awards ceremony at a fantastic Seattle venue. This year, I partnered with Three Dollar Bill Cinema and Gay City Health Project. Herban Feast was an amazing venue.
7 Queers of Bad Luck - Video Short
Three Dollar Bill Cinema sponsored the this video short event at the 2008 Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival. Ten filmmakers were given one of ten superstition themes - chosen randomly. Our theme was, "broken mirror".
We were given two weeks to write and produce the film and two days with use of the camera. We were not allowed to edit - only stop and start the camera!!!
"The Red Dress" Drag Bus - 2008
Last year's "Drag Bus" fundraiser event was "The Red Dress".

"The Blue Ball" Drag Bus - 2007
Ride a bus filled with folks all dressed in the same colored attire. We go bar and restaurant hopping, converging on the patrons (bringing stares, laughter and delight, plenty of photo opportunities), raise money and distribute information for that year’s cause.

The Blue Ball Pride Float
As the official kick-off for the Blue Ball,
we entered a float into
the 2007 Pride Parade on Sunday June 24th (the Blue Ball Bus Party
fundraiser for Testicular/Prostate Cancer will be Saturday August 11th).
The theme for the Pride parade was "Coming Together" (I had nothing to do with
this!). So, I decided our theme would be "Coming Together for a Cause". Our
blue hued float will showcased Mariah Carey's 13 foot legs with blue parade
float fluff, balloons, music, etc.
"Pretty in Pink" Drag Bus - 2006

The 2006 event, “Pretty in Pink” benefited breast cancer research.
At this first fundraising event, we raised over $5,000. The event was enjoyed by participants and the restaurant/bar patrons (even the people on the street).
Scavenger Hunt
A Scavenger Hunt was organized that consisted of two parts: two lists with points varying depending on the degree of difficulty. One list was the traditional idea of some not-so-traditional objects; the second list was photographs to be taken of specific people, places, or tasks performed.
Game Parties
Game Parties were hosted with admission going to charities.
PROMiscuous
PROMiscuous to benefit Eric from the Lashes band. He was partially paralyzed in an accident. The prom-themed birthday party was for the lovely ladies Jamie Stratton and Kindra Meyer. A wild time was had by all aboard the bus tour (gotta love the mechanical bull at Cowgirls inc.) and the huge party at the Rendezvous
Cooking Parties
Cooking Parties were held at a beautiful home where the guest chef demonstrated several courses. Each participant made a donation that went to the Windermere Foundation to help families in need and also to a fund for a young man that had his leg amputated after a train accident at Carkeek Park.
